Flight School

This is Wiz Khalifa's 5th mixtape and its nice. He shows the techno-rap, autotune and of course the nice gangster-rap he brings to the game. This is just a preview of whats yet to come on the album which drops August 1st, 2009 titled "First Flight." I believe this dude can make it big but just needs to bring his fan base up. I mean he is not rapping beside anyone big in the game right now. So i give this dude credit for making it on his own. Drake is all around nice but i believe he got on because of Lil' Wayne. I'm not hating on Drake he is one of my top 10 favorites but a guy like Wiz is doing his thing by himself you cant hate his hard work. The only thing you can do is give him his props for making it big out of Pittsburgh which is one of those cities that is coming up real soon! WATCH OUT!!! ASHER ROTH AND WIZ KHALIFA BOTH FROM PENNSYLVANIA AND BOTH NEW HOT RAPPERS!!!

Joe Budden

Well this blog is kind of odd. Reason being is because i never thought i would put Joe Budden on hear. When you think of Joe Budden you automatically think 1. Who is that? or 2. Mr. Pump It Up. Now I've been watching a couple of his youtube videos, which really don't display any of his music from what i have seen. Well the other day i was playing my Playstation 3 online and was just talking to a dude from New York. Now Texas and New York is totally different in everything especially music. Now we were just talking about good rap artist in the "rap game" and he told me "Joe Budden is nice." So i had to check out his music and he is not bad lyrically. Anyone who is not bad lyrically catches my attention quick fast. Now i haven't heard his newest album but i heard just a couple of songs and they are pretty good. I just really wish all this dancing music that everybody calls "Rap/Hip Hop" would stop and play something different.

Asher Roth?

This kid is a problem! Asher Roth is a new rapper. Very different from everyone else, but many compare him to Eminem. This reason is because Skin and voice. Well let me tell you that music wise there is a BIG difference. He is not very opinionated like Eminem, but has great lyrics like him. Asher is one of those new dudes in the "rap game" that really brings a lot to the table. Now if you have never heard of him i suggest that you do some homework on him immediately!

Feisty Friday?

Well, it all started this morning. I was running late to school and running into the building and i was thinking "shouldn't everybody be in class?", but they weren't. So i get in class and ask people what happened, and they tell me that there was a fight/brawl. Now if I'm correct this is the first fight at MacArthur this whole year. Wow, so that fight goes around school and by third period is pretty much done with. So its the end of the 5th six weeks and I'm not doing so well in some classes and i think I'm going to fail English. So i tried to turn some things in so i wont fail but i don't think its going to put me where i need to be. Also i heard that a Taco Bell got robbed down by my friends house. What is really going on in the world? Until we find out I'm Javier signing out!!!

Metronomy

Well i don't know much about this band other than they have a great song called "Heartbreaker" and that they are from London. Anyway, i was in my friend's car yesterday and this song passed and i thought it was a good song. Very different from what i usually listen to but my ears are open to new things. Now I'm going to do a little more research about this band and hopefully hear more good music about them. Now if you haven;t heard of them or heard "Heartbreaker" i suggest you hear it, its a really good song.

Eminem

Eminem is one of the greatest rappers of all time. He came right out the gate speaking his mind and not really caring who cares. He has sold millions of Cd's. He is now making headlines once again and back to make another Cd. Now I'm pretty sure he is going to sell, but are we going to be hearing the same Eminem we did back in the days? I hope so, but as far as making headlines he has said a line in his new song "We Made You" that has the media talking. But who cares right? Well that's all on him right now we will see how he does when his new Cd comes out.

Wiz Khalifa

Well for the past two weeks i didn't blog about music because of my "troubles". Anyways my friend Johnny told me about this dude last year. I listened to his singles and they were good. After i listened to those three i kind of feel asleep on him, but the other night i looked him up and found some of his old mixtape songs. I listened to them and i have to say that they were nice. Well i have to say he is a little different from what i listen to. He raps about how he grinds and the "semi gangster rap," but i like it so he is cool with me. I heard he is coming out with an album this year so i will be looking for that. If you never heard him you probably have to listen to "Say Yeah," "Youngin On His Grind" and "Pittsburgh Sound." If those songs don't catch your attention just listen to his mixtape titled "Prince Of The City 2."

Feeling Better

OK, well yesterday i was feeling out of it. Today is a brand new day, and I addressed some issues yesterday and I'm feeling much better today. Anyway, sorry about not blogging about the music like I'm suppose to do. I will get back to the music next week. So i have been listen to Drake's mixtape "So Far Gone" non stop. Its like one of the greatest ever. No joke, many people at school will agree. So if you haven't heard go listen to it. Other than that I'm good so you guys dont have to worry about me.

Confused?

Well, this is how i have been feeling lately. I have been off track not doing my work and i didn't go in to work yesterday. I need a break from everything, i just need to go somewhere far. I'm just not feeling myself either, and I'm feeling out of it. I don't need any help i just need some rest and time to get back on track. I have been planing some things and i feel like I'm putting them to the side. Its not just stuff its important things. I just have a lot of problems i need to take care of. Hopefully i have the time and strength to get through it ALL.

"So Far Gone" is one of the best mixtapes in a long time. Well its by "Drake" a new artist on the rise. With this mixtape I'm pretty sure he will be big in no time. This mixtape is a for sure classic. Like i said before he is not like the other rappers, he talks about things that happen in his everyday low celebrity status. Hooking up with Bun B, Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Lloyd, Lykke Li, Santo Gold, and Omarion. Travis McCoy

Travis McCoy, one of the best lyracist in the game. He is the lead vocalist of "Gym Class Heroes," "Tequila Mockingbird," "Bernie Allen." He was recently signed to T-Pain's "Nappy Boy" label. He was dating Katy Perry until she broke up with him and broke his little heart, but its cool cause I'm pretty sure he is going to bounce back and find some girl way finer than her. Anyway, he is another rapper that does not rap about the same things that 90% of these other rappers rap about. From what i know, he is working on a solo album and a mixtape. Can't Wait until they come out. Till then I'm Outtie!!!

Oh and Drake's new mixtape is coming out tomorrow titled "So Far Gone" is coming out tomorrow and is gonna be SICK!!!!

Drake

Drake is a very talented rapper. A very unique style he's not like most rappers rapping about their cars, houses and gang life. He raps about a lot of true life situations. He talks about his life about how he came up from acting on the show "Degrassi" playing Jimmy. He is from Toronto, Canada. He has done many songs with Lil Wayne, Trey Songz and the whole "Young Money" crew.

Chamillionaire

Chamillionaire is my favorite artist. His style is unique and he says whatever is on his mind. he won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for his number-one single "Ridin'", a number one hit in the United States for two weeks in 2006. He wants to prove that there is lyricist in the south and that it is not just "snap, bubble gum rap and tap" music like everyone puts it out to be. With two albums out already he is ready to release his third titled "Venom". His first single "Creepin (Solo)" featuring Ludacris is already on the radio and getting a lot of plays for it.

Friday School...

Well its 4:00 p.m. and i'm sitting in saturday school. I got to hold it down in here for two hours then have to make it to work at 6. I already called in and told them so they know i'm going to be late. anyways school today was ok. Nothing special happened or anything but it was koo (cool). I get out of work at 10:00 p.m. and i'll probablyend up chilling with my homeboy johnny. i got off these next two days so i'm going to be free on the weekend for the most part. i wanted to go get my haircut today but i didn't have time. I don't want to be at school frowing. Thats never good, you have to be seen with a clean cut ALWAYS! Lately i've been slacking on my haircut game, but i'm fixing to step it up. Well today is Tuesday and its 29 Degrease outside, and its freezing. A little ice is falling but not sticking to the ground. I want it to snow so i can go outside and have a snowball fight and just hit somebody. If it did snow after having a snowball fight i would go play football. Well i cant wait until the break because it is going down. I just want to get away from school. I want to graduate already, but until then i got to focus on my grades and stuff. Well I'm outta here!

This Christmas!

Well as we all know we are getting close to Christmas. I love Christmas because its family time, and everybody having a good time. Christmas is not really all about the presents as the kids make it seem. Christmas is about your family getting together and having a good time. Well this Christmas is going to be special. I'm going down to Wichita Falls to spend Christmas. I really wanted to stay with my girlfriend, but everybody is going so i don't really have a choice. Sorry baby wish i could of stayed but you will see me Christmas day. =)

Reyna Lopez

WOW!!! So Reyna is my girlfriend and i love her to death. She is everything to me. I mean i don't think i can go a day without her. She is one of those people who you just need to speak to everyday and she is that one person i can trust the most. There is a lot of people out in school who just hating on us and all they know how to do is run their mouth. It's not going to work though because we are to close and we tell each other the truth even if its bad so we both know whats really going on so those people can stop hating.

End Of The 2nd Six Weeks!

Its the end of the 2nd six weeks and im not really doing that good in school right now. I know i will pass my classes though. I wasn't really worried about my classes untill now. I have heard that gradespeed was messing up so im not really worried but then i am. Its weird how i think, but i have turned in most of my work so i should be good.

Shoes

Today i was thinking about what kind of shoes i should get. Well yesterday i got a new pair of all white vans, but i think i should get more. Not just vans but Jordans, Converse and probably some Air Force 1's. Shoes are nice, well it just depends how you wear them. You have to wear the right outfit with your kicks or else you will not look right. Looks like i'm going to ask for some shoes this christmas.

Lying!

Man i hate people who lie. They just don't and won't stop lying. They sound like Sean "P. Diddy" Combs when he says "Can't stop won't stop." All I'm just saying is that they need to stop. Whats going to happen when they get caught lying for something important? They are going to lose friends and even family. Nobody likes liars, or at least everybody i know don't. I just hate it when they lie about something small, that's what bugs me the most. For example, i asked my friend if he wanted to go do something and he said no cause he had to go somewhere but he didn't. Like how does it make you feel when you lie? that's what i want to know, and why do liars get so attached to lying? I need some answers.
